I love being a Tastefully Simple Consultant, and I bet you would too!  Tastefully Simple has a great business opportunity, and this page is designed to give you the basic info about the opportunity to make your decision.  Since this page is a work in progress, I would love to know what questions you may have, so I can answer them for you, then share them here so others can benefit from the answers.  Feel free to add your question in the comments below, email me at tastefullysuek@gmail.com, or call me at 978-549-2019.

  1. How do I become a Tastefully Simple Consultant? - Just visit the Join Us Today page on the Tastefully Simple website and follow the instructions.  I signed up this way and it's super easy.  It's also possible to sign up by printing, signing, and faxing an application form.  If you'd rather do it that way, just contact me and I'll walk you through it.
  2. How much does it cost to become a Tastefully Simple Consultant? - Purchase a qualifying meal kit, and add on the "Join" option for $39.95.You'll get a consultant start up kit when you join (See #4 below), but you can choose to add additional business supplies to your order at this time. Occasionally, we'll have joining specials and incentives, so keep an eye out for that.
  3. Are there any other costs in starting my business? - Yes, but they depend on how you want to operate your business.  If you want to accept credit cards as payment, you'll need to set up a ProPay account through Tastefully Simple.  You'll get a free trial of TS Connected and ProPay after you join, but after that there is a monthly fee of $13.94, and there is a small charge per credit card transaction. TS Connected also allows you to use email and Facebook to connect with your customers.  Neither of these options are required, but I've found that people often spend more when paying by credit card, and I love waking up and seeing new online purchases in the system.  I also have a tech-savvy client base, so for me it's critical to have these options.  Also, you will likely want to purchase some supplies for your parties and for planning, such as pens, clipboards or lapboards, totes to hold your party materials, labels or stamps to add your contact information to printed materials, postage for invitations, and so on.  Tastefully Simple also has a marketplace where you can purchase items such as logowear, business cards, table drapes, and promotional items.  None of these are required, but may be helpful in marketing and presenting your business.
  4.   5. How do I get started after I sign up? - After you sign up, you'll get information on how to log into MyHQ.  MyHQ is the central website for Tastefully Simple consultants, and Tastefully Simple has created a great online training program to get you .  I'll help walk you through the basic training and make sense of what's there.  Once you've used the system a bit, it becomes much easier.  There are just so many resources available that it can be a little much at first.  You'll start with some training videos that will help you learn more about booking, planning, and holding your first parties.  If you join my team, I will be available every step of the way to help you succeed!
