So, why do I love my Tastefully Simple business?
Jill Blasack-Strahan, the founder and CEO of Tastefully Simple has put out a challenge to us consultants to help us stretch a little bit in our goal setting and growing our business. This 21 Day Challenge has been a great opportunity to review a few things, like revisiting my "why" for my business, setting goals that are a little bit out of my comfort range, and breaking down goals into reasonable, achievable chunks.
It's been a great experience, not only looking back on why I started my Tastefully Simple business in the first place, but the wide range of benefits that I've enjoyed.
To give a little background, I joined Tastefully Simple in June 2012. I had been thinking about it for several months before hand, and had made the decision to join in April or May, but because of my work schedule, June was the best time for me to sign up. I own another business, one where I work with small businesses to seek out, apply for, and win research and development contracts. That work is fantastic, but it's not consistent. I'd work like crazy for one month, and then have nothing going on the next month. I started my Tastefully Simple business to help even out those low periods, and have a more consistent income over time.
So that was my "why" for starting my business, and at a fundamental level, that hasn't changed in the last two years. However, there are a ton of other benefits that I didn't see going in. First, it's unbelievable how many fantastic people I've met, that I would not have had reason to meet otherwise. My clients and hosts are awesome, and many have become friends. I love that I am able to get out of the house and be social and share our delicious food!
And it's not just my clients; I've met so many Tastefully Simple consultants from around the country that have been an amazing resource. My local team is awesome, and we're part of the top team in the country! The support from the company is great too, and there are so many opportunities for training and recognition. I'm looking forward to meeting many of my fellow "Tastebuds" at our annual conference (Partypalooza!) in August.
So, what do you think? Do you need a bit of extra income in your budget? Do you want to stretch yourself and learn and grow? Do you want to meet fabulous people in your community and around the country? Email me at tastefullysuek@gmail.com so I can share our business opportunity with you.

Why is NOW the right time to join my team?
Are you a huge fan of Tastefully Simple? Have you ever thought about becoming a
Tastefully Simple consultant for the discount, or to get out of the house and
party with people, or make a little or a LOT of extra money? Well, here's 10 reasons why right NOW is the
best time to join my team:
- Start 2014 by paying off 2013's bills - Consultants earn 30% commission on all retail sales. Just one party a week could result in $100-200 per week or more in your pocket.
- Enjoy a discount on your purchases - That 30% commission? That means that you get a 30% discount when ordering products for your own use.
- January 2014 host rewards - Hosts in January will be earning 50% more free products. This is perfect for encouraging hosts to help kick off your new Tastefully Simple business.
- People have more time in January - You and everyone you know is running around like crazy, right? Join my team now and book your first parties in January when everyone's schedule is back to normal.
- Start earning Silver Leaf points - Silver Leaf is our annual consultant award trip, and 2015's trip is a cruise to the Bahamas! Consultants can start earning qualification points in January, so if you -join now you can make the most of the earning period.
- Join an amazing team of consultants - I'm part of a fantastic team based in central Massachusetts. My sponsor has been with Tastefully Simple for 9 years, and my Team Manager has been with Tastefully Simple for 11 years! It's a super supportive group with monthly training meetings and assistance whenever you need it. Seriously, things come up on our Facebook group all the time and everyone is fantastic about responding and helping out.
- Comprehensive online training - Tastefully Simple has an awesome training system to help you become successful FAST.
- Spring Training - Attend a Tastefully Simple On Tour regional event in February to get training, motivation, and tons of fun with other local consultants.
- Unlimited earning potential - You really can get as much as you want out of a Tastefully Simple business. Just want to enjoy the discount? Just meet a super low quota of $400 in retail sales per quarter. Want to get out and party a few times a month? Tastefully Simple works well as a second part-time job (this is what I do, and I love it!). Want to be a superstar? Go full time and build a team! We have an awesome compensation plan for leaders.
- ME! - Finally, you'll have ME as your sponsor. I'll be here to guide you through the processes of starting your business, getting you trained, and helping you get your parties started. I want everyone on my team to get the most out of their business, no matter what level they're looking for.

Amped Up New Consultant Incentive
One of the huge announcements to come out of Partypalooza was a brand new sign-on incentive! Just join Tastefully Simple between now and September 30th, and look what you can get back:
Seriously! New consultants can earn half or all of the cost of their Business Blast Off Kit back if they reach sales goals by October 15! At an average of $400 per party, it would only take 3 parties to earn back your investment cost, plus you'd earn $300 in commission off of those $1000 in sales!
Interested? I'd love to talk to you more about the Tastefully Simple business opportunity. Just email me at tastefullysuek@gmail.com or call me at 978-549-2019, and I'd be happy to give you the facts about the business.
